The Ouch! Heavy-Duty Fluffy Handcuffs in lavender are iron police-style cuffs wrapped in soft acrylic fur, with a locking ratchet and a quick-release button so you are never stuck waiting for a key. The 1.97 inch inner diameter fits most adult wrists and the whole pair weighs under five ounces. I recommend them as the safest entry point into metal cuffs because the release button takes the panic out of it.

How to use the Ouch! Heavy-Duty Fluffy Handcuffs Lavender?

1. Find the quick-release button and test it before anyone's wrist goes in.
2. Close the ratchet one click at a time until snug; you should still fit a finger between fur and skin.
3. Keep hands in front of the body for the first sessions and off hard surfaces so the metal does not press the wrist bones.
4. Check fingers every few minutes for cold, tingling or color change.
5. Press the release to open; have the key or button within reach the whole time.
6. Slide the fur off, wipe the metal dry, and hand wash the fur if needed.

Special considerations / warnings

• Ratchet cuffs tighten if the wearer struggles; stop and release at the first complaint of pain.
• Never hang weight from the cuffs or attach them to a fixed point without the button in reach.
• Do not cuff anyone behind the back for long; it strains the shoulders and the ratchet can bind on the mattress.
• Never leave a restrained, gagged or hooded person alone, not even for a minute.
